AGM - 1st November
We are holding our AGM at our head office in Papatoetoe, this Saturday – 1st November from 10:30am.
The Inner City's Women's Group Board are absolutely delighted to welcome Tracey Thompson as the new General Manager at Inner City Women’s Group.
Tracey joins us with a remarkable background in leadership, operations, and victim support - most recently as Operations Manager at Dawn House Inc. and previously with roles at Victim Services and Manaaki Tāngata. Her dedication to empowering individuals, fostering safe environments and guiding teams with compassion and clarity is a perfect fit for our organisation.
At Inner City Women’s Group, we are committed to empowering wāhine through education; enhancing assertiveness, communication and confidence-building, while ensuring services are accessible, culturally appropriate and designed to help break the cycle of domestic violence and child abuse. Tracey not only shares these values - she embodies them.
Her leadership style is grounded in empathy, collaboration and practical action. We’re excited about how she will champion our programmes - like Reclaiming Myself, Breaking the Cycle, Irate, Pave and Between Mother & Child - and help elevate our reach and impact across Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Please join us in giving Tracey a warm welcome to the Inner City Women’s Group whānau. We’re thrilled to begin this journey together.
