Women empowering all women to be free from family violence.
For over 30 years we have supported women especially those affected by family violence.
Inner City Women’s Group leads the way specialising in:
women and anger
supporting survivors of family violence
offering assertiveness, communication, confidence-building skills and strategies
holistic support for all women affected by family violence
women’s offender support services
Inner City Women’s Group is an independent Charitable Trust.
Our Mission
It is Inner City Women's Group mission to provide services that:
Utilise Mātauranga to draw on our own strengths, wisdom and inner knowledge
Utilise Mātauranga Māori to work with wāhine, acknowledging cultural experiences, knowledge and stories
Prioritise the safety of all wāhine and tamariki and whānau
Empower all women to be free from family violence
Are equitable, accessible and flexible
Include facilitated groups and safety and education programmes that are trauma-informed, evidence-based and delivered by skilled professionals.
